I’ve had the opportunity to be around people who are successful in their own right. The most important thing I’ve learned from them is that it’s not necessarily success if you get there but can’t stay there. There’s a difference between chasing success and happening upon it every now and again, and finding out what needs to be done to stay successul.
Staying successful doesn’t mean you don’t have failures. In fact, I believe that people who have longevity attained it because they had so many failures on the road to their successes. Once they find out what doesn’t work, they move on to discover what does and they do it over and over until they need to pivot. Then they start the process over again.
I know it sounds exhausting to have to try and try again until you make it and then have to start over once things change. But that is life. Life is change. And those who stay successful revamp, remake, recharge and redirect as many times as they need to in order to keep succeeding. So, my friend, do you want to chase success or do you want to stay successful?
